Saint-Brice is a tiny village located just outside of the town of Cognac in the Charentes department in the west of France. This region is historically famous for producing spirits - not just cognacs, but brandies, eaux-de-vie, liqueurs, and more. With fewer than 1000 residents, Saint-Brice is a charming and idyllic spot, boasting an ancient château, a variety of vineyards and the Dâme distillery where Djin Spirits is produced.
Three cocktails, and you can still drive home!
Djin Spirits was created in response to a growing demand for alcohol-free spirits. Bartenders found that many of their clients wanted to enjoy the taste and sensations of a good cocktail without any of the alcohol content. Spirit of Passion acts as a replacement for a gin (or any white spirit!), without compromising on important qualities such as intensity, length, structure and freshness. It serves up a rich, herbal cocktail base with a powerful kick, all at 0%.
For once, a drink that’s good for you
Spirit of Passion is made using over twenty different plant varieties. Romauld creates an aromatic and flavourful concoction using ingredients such as juniper berries, cardamom, savory, and chili peppers. They all also add their own particular beneficial qualities - these natural botanicals are designed not only to taste good, but to stimulate and detox the body and mind.
The Brains Behind It
Having worked as a distiller for years, Romuald Vincent launched Djin Spirits in 2019 after receiving multiple requests for alcohol-free spirits from his bartender clients. Along with being a master distillery he is also something of a witch doctor. He focuses on using botanicals with medicinal qualities and extracts flavours and aromas with his own patented technique. Romuald believes in creativity and passion - and hopes to exemplify this with his innovative alcohol-free range.More on the Brand
