Although Trinidad Ten Cane 11 Ans can be drunk neat – and if you want to really let it express itself, that’s what you should do – it also makes a great base for a fresh, delicate Daiquiri. Pour 30 ml of Trinidad Ten Cane 11 Ans, 20 ml of freshly squeezed lime juice, and about 10 ml of plain sugar syrup over ice into a cocktail shaker. Shake well, summoning all your rhythm, then strain it into a chilled cocktail glass.Back to shop

The West Indies has been producing sugarcane for hundreds of years. Made up of over 7,000 islands and territories stretching from the Florida peninsula of North America down to the northern coast of Venezuela, it is as beautiful as it is diverse. From active volcanoes to limestone islands to palm-fringed white beaches, each land is unique and different, imbued with its own distinct character and charm.
Ten Cane distillery in Trinidad took its name from the theory that it takes ten sugarcanes to produce one bottle of rum. Distilled from a base of 100% sugarcane, Trinidad Ten Cane 11 Ans has been aged in bourbon wood casks for eleven years, giving a depth and profundity to its sweet top notes.
Since Trinidad Ten Cane 11 Ans was distilled and aged, the Trinidadian distillery where it was created has closed down. The rarity of this product did not go unnoticed when Compagnie des Indes selected it for importation. Its gloriously unique personality retains all of the charm of its tropical homeland.
Compagnie des Indes was created by Florent Beuchet, a wine expert hailing from Burgundy, France. Realising that the world of rums was every bit as diverse and varied as the world of wines, he set out on a journey of education. By offering a selection of unique single-cask rums along with carefully created blends, he hopes to introduce people to the rich universe of craft rums, and discover new terroirs along the way.More on the Brand
